How to play Futoshiki

Rules

1. Use every number from 1 to the grid size once in each row and column.
2. The open side of a comparison sign faces the larger number: 4 > 2 and 2 < 4.
3. Given numbers stay fixed.

How to answer

1. Select a cell, then choose its number. Use Notes to add or remove candidates.
2. Choose Check grid when every cell is filled and every comparison is true.
3. Your entries and notes are saved. Undo reverses edits and clearing.

Solving tips

• A long chain of comparisons restricts both ends. Combine those limits with the missing numbers in each row and column.
