How to play Futoshiki
Fill a number grid where rows and columns cannot repeat numbers, and every greater-than or less-than sign must be true.

Rules
- Use the numbers 1 through the grid size in every row, with no repeats.
- Use the numbers 1 through the grid size in every column, with no repeats.
- Every sign between two cells compares those two neighboring numbers.
- Given numbers cannot be changed.
How to answer
- Tap an empty cell, then tap a number to fill it.
- Read each sign as pointing toward the larger number: for example, 4 > 2 and 2 < 4.
- Submit once every cell is filled, rows and columns have no repeats, and all signs are true.
Solving tips
- Chains of signs force low and high numbers toward the ends.
- Use row and column uniqueness before guessing.
- If a cell must be greater than several neighbors, it probably needs one of the larger numbers.
