How to play Balance Scale
Use the weighings to work out the requested weight, order or comparison.
Rules
- Each weighing compares the total weight on its two sides.
- = means equal totals; A > B means A is heavier than B.
- Some questions ask whether the available evidence is enough.
How to answer
- Compare the weighings, then choose the answer to the question. Choosing submits it.
- Review the solved answer for the cancellations or deductions.
Solving tips
- Cancel identical objects from both sides of an equality.
- For a claimed order, check whether a different order could satisfy the same evidence.
